It is another amazingly beautiful day today and the weather looks set to continue well into next week. I have been out and about with the camera and precious little knitting has been done. Things look set to continue that way as we attempt to make the most out of this holiday weekend. Yesterday we enjoyed the sun with the dogs at Cata Sand.

I’m cooking later – Roast Pork with Pear Chutney, roast parsnips, potatoes, and purple sprouting. There is a New York style baked cheesecake for dessert, with strawberries macerated in Amaretto. Since Jennifer called, about half an hour ago, there are now also after-dinner chocolates (locally hand-made Ginger Truffles). A bottle of fizz is chilling. Why? No reason whatsoever, other than having time available to invest in each other.




We are back from the shop and the dogs are having their playtime. After coffee, the drum kit will be moving to the front of the house and I shall be getting my studio back. Just as well, it is time to start preparing for opening for the season.
