If at first you don’t succeed – ply, ply and ply again

It was plying day today.

I made use of the E-spinner’s jumbo bobbins and whipped my way through my singles in virtually no time at all. It’s a wonderful tool. I took time out to bake bread and to make curry and came back to the studio after lunch intending to do some colour blending on the Wide Drum Carder. I still haven’t got around to that and we are now rapidly heading in the direction of bedtime. J did however get some blending done and she turned a pile of drab browns and garish pinks into a delightful chocolate ice cream sundae confection.

I could have done more, but I was a little absorbed in photographing Mr L’s guitar for my 365 project.

My colours are planned and the recipe is written. With a  little luck I can turn out my batts tomorrow.
