I need a third hand

Horribly busy today. Tired and aching after all the standing and the carting and lifting yesterday but needs must… I am sitting here looking at all the stuff that came back from the Christmas Fair and knowing  that it all needs putting away again or displaying prettily by 2pm. It makes me want to weep – but only because I have to cook the joint that we couldn’t have yesterday because I went out.

I have gammon joint. Mr L wants a Leek Pudding with it. and I want to start a Split Pea Soup for the leftovers, to provide lunch tomorrow.  There is a huge Lakeland parcel, delivered Saturday, still to be opened and dealt with and cat trays to do.Then there is Twhit to finish editing and people coming round to discuss commission knitting and yarn purchase and…. EEEK!

I just want to scream.

So what do I do? I sit here and make a whining post.

Displacement activity.

I have coffee. I’ll be all right. Chocolate would help.

Shove me back to work, folks.

    Sounds familiar!
I feel like I need 3 heads at the moment to keep track of everything, so of course, I’m sat here reading your post instead of doing proper work!

I have a list, it is prioritised, and I am crossing things off it, it’s the only way I manage to remember everything.

I’m with you, Katie. If I don’t have a list, I flit from one thing to the other without achieving anything. 🙂
