Spinning Taster

We ran a taster spinning course for four ladies on May 16th. Much fun was had and the cake was excellent (as always.) All four ladies were delighted to be taking home with them a small skein of their own handspun singles.

Our next scheduled Introduction to Spinning course will be Tuesday/Wednesday 27th/28th May - places still available. The scheduled course following that is on Wednesday/Thursday 9th/10th July.

Arrangements have been made to offer courses on demand, subject to tutor availability. Both the standard course and short tasters will be possible.

A new product coming soon: Hand-turned Nostepinnes. Hand made by a local Sanday craftsman, these nostepinnes are a delightful addition to the knitter's or spinner's workbasket.

Each nostepinne is unique - they are made from different woods and each to a slightly different design, making each an individual work of art. The Nostepinnes are hand finished with a light coat of wax, to bring out the grain of the wood.
