For those who missed it so far – the new Knitty is out. Once again I find little in it to interest me but I do want to draw attention to the KnittySpin pattern By Romi – Geschenk is written to make the most of a small amount of handspun yarn and can be done in any weight, to any size.
Could come in handy for destashing your handspun, or for special Christmas gifts.
Romi has a KAL going on this one.
I’m wondering about this yarn…
Too lively? Certainly a bit on the thick-and-thin side. I just don’t know what else to do with it.
I worked quite hard yesterday at not casting it on.
Not much news on the personal knitty front. I went to K&N yesterday and added a few points to my KAL cape. I also did a little work on an Echoes of Eden mitt. I know it is FO Friday, but there are no FOs this week. The week seems to have flown and somehow has not provided a lot of knitting time.
Of course what with the North Ron rovings arriving, all I want to do right now is to spin… and to pick out my sweater pattern, so I know what kind of yarn to make.
If you want me, I shall be in the kitchen, adding the odd row to my mitt while I fashion a chicken, leek and mushroom risotto. I know. Only two flavours and all that… but I have ends to use up.
PS it’s the Masterchef final tonight. No spoilers, please – I can’t watch until it has finished airing. I shall be rooting for Emma!
