Mad spinning skillz

It’s an ugly day today. A day for digging in and indulging the inner spinner. I shall be plying. Still.

I sat down yesterday morning, telling Mr L that I would need a solid 2 hours to ply my yarn. I plied and I plied and I plied. Then I was asked to help with the Landy. I came back in and I plied and I plied and I plied. Then Nell walked through my singles and broke them. I elected to take the (half full)  bobbin off at that stage and I began another one after lunch.

I plied and I plied and I plied. I helped with the Landy. I plied and I plied and I plied. I welcomed some studio visitors and I sat and plied while we chatted. After they left, I cooked dinner then came back and I plied and I plied and I plied.

By the time that my evening bath was drawn, I had another 2/3rds of a bobbin full.

Somehow. I have no idea how, the singles are still about 1/3rd remaining.

There was only 100g of fibre!

I was aiming for 600 yards. I wonder what I’ve actually got? Anyway, must crack on or I’ll never finish the job.
