It was Knit & Natter day today. The names went into the hat and Jennifer won a copy of The Knitter’s Curiosity Cabinet.
Don’t forget, you have until 09:00 BST Saturday 30th June to enter to win the other copy.
We are getting a drenching today. No complaints – the ground is sorely in need. There may be thunder later, so if we are offline for a while you will know why… I always prepare fot the worst – it will be a long time before I forget the day that the broadband adapter was vapourised!
I took secret knitting to K&N today and finished the first of a pair. The I got stuck in to tinking Kadril – something I have been putting off for a while. It did not go well. The consensus was that starting it again would be the more productive course. I frogged it. Something tells me that it will not be appearing in the Show this year.
This afternoon and evening I am busy preparing for tomorrow’s Open Studio. I am feeling a little defeated at this point. Nothing a bar of chocolate would not fix. I expect.
From this weekend we shall be open daily (pretty much.) Locals and visitors will find us “At Home” in the Studio between 2pm and 4pm… unless we are not here. If you see what I mean.
I must get on. There are skeins to wash, knitting to block, items to price up… and a great deal of artful arrangment waiting to be done.
