Prices

ALL our published prices are inclusive of UK postage and packaging. What you see is what you pay. We will adjust prices downward for multiple purchases if it turns out that postage economies can be made.

Customers from Overseas should contact us prior to purchasing, in order to arrange appropriate delivery charges.

Orders

Orders for Ashford Wheels and Looms will be forwarded to the UK distributor by the end of the next working day. Delivery times are then in their hands. We suggest that you can expect delivery within 14 days from ordering (under normal circumstances – but please be more generous at holiday times), but our own experience is that orders normally arrive in 7 to 10 days.

Payments

We are currently taking secure  payments via PayPal. No PayPal account is required — you may use your Credit Card at PayPal if you prefer.

Dispatch

Many Ashford items are sent direct to you from the distributor. We do not currently hold stocks of smaller Ashford items. We can order these in for you but they may attract additional postage charges.

Items held in stock will be mailed to you on our next posting day following your  order.

We mail parcels twice a week – on Tuesdays and Fridays.

We will normally use Royal Mail second class services, unless you ask us to do differently. Extra charges incurred may be passed on to you, so please ask before placing your order.

Urgent orders can be mailed on other days on request but please be aware that our Post Office has limited opening hours and not every request can feasibly be satisfied. This is one of the possibly inconvenient quirks of island living and working. We manage to live with the restriction and we hope that you can cope with it  too. We try to compensate by going that “extra mile” in every other aspect of our service. Let us be honest — we would like you to be charmed by the notion of trading with this possibly distant island community, hiccups and all.

Packaging

We recycle packing materials wherever possible and hope that you will be sympathetic to this approach which is not only greener but also saves you money. If you are purchasing gift items to be sent directly to a lucky recipient, please let us know if you would like us to use new packaging.
