In a spin

It’s Thursday, Spinning Group day and I got off to an early start. We were expecting our visitor from the USA today and so I set to making some English Muffins to take along. Then I received an email to say that she had travel problems and won’t now be arriving in time for Spinning. Such a shame.

Mr L had asked for Fish and Chips today, so 8am saw me putting my mushy peas on. I don’t believe that I have ever been so organised…

…then again, I was  pretty organised yesterday too. I finished filling my third bobbin of singles and then proceeded to skein off my first three skeins for my jumper, thereby preparing my wheel to take to group today. It now has its transport wheels fitted and is in the hall waiting for its lift to Heilsa Fjold.

The ultimate effect being that I am sitting here, twiddling my thumbs and actually waiting until it is time to cook lunch! I suppose I could be using the down time to start working on the changes to the Sanday Living leaflet, but I can do that just as well later.

Trying to decide whether or not to head into Kirkwall tomorrow. The jury is out on that one but a decision needs to be made in time to book the bus. Or not.

Oh, Gill is home!
