The Gentle Art of Blogging

I like reading Blogs. I have a favourite five: This one, Beth’s Daily Loaf, the Yarnharlot, Liz’s Mostly Knitting, Kate Davies and Katie’s The view from the Hill. I have these on RSS feed and am always disappointed if nothing’s been written.

That being said, blogs don’t write themselves and I shouldn’t be leaving all the blogging to Beth!

So, some Knitting News.

I don’t have many things on my needles – if I have too much going on, none of it gets done. An example of this is my Jesien – a Niebling design. Having knitted Mommes Lysedug last year and entered it in the show, I was inspired to try this Niebling pattern. I bought some soft cotton yarn from eBay and off I went.

After a while it languished – for no particular reason – I was just knitting other things and life was getting very busy. However, I thought I’d bring it into school, where I’ve been acting secretary for last week and this, and knit it at lunchtimes.

Coming back to it after a break I’m really enjoying it. I’ll see how far I get by the end of the week and put up some photos.

You must be frequently disappointed by the non-appearance of posts on my blog! Thanks for the link. There is a new post with pictures up today – I knew days off were good for something.
