Time v Money

I spent most past evening unravelling a tangled skein of yarn. Anybody with any sense would have tossed it -it was a sample and the cost scarcely represented the time taken in rescue.

Maybe it was my Yorkshire gene, or possibly it was the fact that the skein was cashmere.

Anyway, I now have two balls of green/off white marled stuff to go into the stashbuster Tunisian Crochet blanket – which, I might add, I am thoroughly enjoying despite the fact that it is beginning to throw its weight about. I put some time in on it yesterday evening after realising that there is a hiccough with the KAL cape – an error in the instructions for the second corner is not dealt with in the published errata. I need to put my thinking cap on. I feel heartened though, to be approaching the long straight.

I’m thinking about taking my blogging activity back over to Woolgathering. I miss my own domain, plus I feel that Gill should have the opportunity to be more visible and not be drowned out by my over-extensive witterings. What do you think – would you miss my blether if I kept strictly to business here?

I would miss your blog here, as it brightens up my lunch hour.

I’d miss your blog, it’s inspiring to read all the things you’re doing, puts me to shame though as I only have a couple of things on the go.
